Early Prayer

As I mentioned yesterday, this Sunday's sermon has really stirred me! I determined to give God the first moments (first fruits) of my day and my wife has been doing the same. I used to get up and immediately get inthe shower and get ready, then pray. Now, I am praying, then getting ready. This pays off! I may not be praying in a way that is most comfortable to me, but it is most pleasing to God. A small change with big results in my heart.

William Cowper, a British poet (1731-1800) said,
"Prayer makes the Christian's armour bright;
And Satan trembles when he sees
The weakest saint upon his knees."

God Bless,

Pastor Paul
