Last night we visited with Laura and Kaler Carpenter and Charles Lewis. They had met last week Tuesday for dinner together and then decided to walk to the ice cream shop (Dairy Delight) for desert. That ice ceram shop was closed and so they walked to the next which was also closed (Fritz's Custard) and finally decided to walk to the next one and finally got their ice crream (Dairy Queen). It turned into a two hour walk. They are crazy.

Thanks, I did not realize how far off the DQ end of the trip was. You should know you walked it!
So, I guess the Lewis and Carpenter trail looks longer on the map than it was in reality.
Typical revision and streching of the actual history that we find so common today.
When the weather is warmer we can make a documentary on the L & C journey.
